Who May Use the Library
The library will serve all residents of Burnett County. Anyone with a valid borrower's card from other Northern Waters Library Service member libraries or from those public libraries in systems with which NWLS has a signed agreement will be offered a Larsen Family Public Library card. Service will not be denied or abridged because of religious, racial, social, economic or political services. Burnett County visitors who do not pay property tax here may borrow material upon leaving a copy of his/her driver's license by providing adequate identification. A temporary card will be issued. Materials to be checked out may be limited in number.
Registration: all borrowers must be registered and must have a library card to borrow library materials.
Patrons must fill out all application form to apply for a library card
Applicants under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian give his/her consent on the application form before a card can be issued. Materials cannot be checked out until a library card is issued.
The use of the library may be denied for due cause. Such cause may be failure to return library materials or to pay penalties, destruction of library property, disturbance of other patrons, or any other objectionable conduct on library premises.
